SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30 5823 is a compact handheld power solution that delivers professional V-mount battery power while maintaining a streamlined, stable, and lightweight setup. Designed for portability, the foldable battery mount plate makes it easy to transport and set up wherever your filming takes you. This comprehensive kit includes a cage, NATO rail, V-mount battery mount plate, LCD screen protector, elastic hook & loop fastener, top handle, and HDMI cable clamp. The modular NATO rail on top is compatible with SmallRig’s NATO top handle ( ID 3766 ) and monitor mount ( ID 2906B ), but can also be removed for use with Sony’s original XLR top handle. The cage features multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes and locating holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a NATO rail - supporting expansion of accessories like monitor mounts ( ID 2903B ) and side handles ( ID 5160, 5194 ). Additionally, a built-in cold shoe mount accommodates microphones or lights ( ID 4660 ) for added functionality. The base features a QD socket for QD shoulder straps ( ID 4118B ) and includes a magnetic flat wrench for easy assembly. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom ensures compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, enabling seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations.
