It offers an expansive field of view exceeding 118 degrees, equivalent to roughly a 12.6mm lens in full-frame format, making it highly suited for grand landscapes, interior architecture, and astrophotography. Engineered to fully resolve fine details on demanding 100-megapixel sensors, the lens features an advanced optical design composed of 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical and four ultra-low dispersion elements to deliver sharp, true-to-life images from corner to corner. It boasts a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture for optimal low-light performance, a specially configured 8-blade aperture that renders clean 8-point sunstars, and a close-focusing distance of 0.25 meters for dramatic foreground perspective. Constructed with a durable, weather-sealed metal barrel that weighs approximately 835 grams, this manual-focus lens also includes an 82mm front filter thread with specialized anti-reflection and protective coatings for reliable field operation. Also, it includes NiSi JetMag Pro 82mm to 95MAG magnetic filter adapter ring, allowing you to magnetically attach the JetMag Pro system's 95MAG filters
