With LED modeling light and flash fill on the same axis, the MA2 makes it easier to preview light direction and focus before shooting. When the flash fires, it helps reveal finer details, texture, and depth.
Dual Flexible Arms and Hot-Shoe Expansion
The dual flexible arms let you position light from either side of the subject. Dual hot-shoe mounts at the ends of the arms support compact flash units, making it easier to build twin-light setups for low-angle, close-to-ground, and forest-floor macro work. The total load on each flexible arm must not exceed 90 g.
A/B Dual-Channel，Light-Source Control
Control the left and right light sources independently for single-sided or dual-sided fill. Adjust the lighting based on the subject's position, camera angle, and the look you want. In FLASH mode, the MA2 supports S1/S2 photocell triggering for manual flash setups and TTL setups with pre-flash.
Quick-Install Magnetic，Diffuser Panel
The included MA02-D Diffuser attaches to the magnetic base and is secured with snap fasteners for quick setup and removal. Fold it up or down to adjust the angle, or gently press the edges to shape the panel. For close-up work, it softens light, reduces harsh highlights, and creates smoother shadows on reflective or textured subjects.
Adjustable Color-Temperature，LED Continuous Light
In LED mode, the adjustable color-temperature LED output supports 0–100% brightness and a color-temperature range of 2800K to 6500K. Use it for macro video fill, focusing assistance, or warm-to-cool lighting control. In FLASH mode, the LED modeling lamp also supports a 2800K to 6500K color-temperature range, so you can preview the light before shooting.
Compact Design, Ready for Close-Up Adventures
Designed for photographers who love exploring outdoors, the MA2 keeps your macro setup lightweight and flexible. Its compact integrated design makes handheld macro, low-angle shots, and outdoor close-ups easier to capture. After shooting, the flexible arms can be folded into a compact shape. The detachable diffuser panel fits easily into a backpack, making it easy to carry and store.
Built-In Lithium Battery and USB-C Charging
Powered by a built-in 3.635V, 3300mAh lithium battery, the MA2 is ready for outdoor close-up shoots without extra power. It runs for approximately 3 hours 20 minutes at 100% brightness and recharges via USB-C in about 2 hours 40 minutes. An included USB-C charging cable keeps charging simple and convenient.
Optional Accessories for Expanded Close-Up Applications
Expand close-up possibilities with the MCL-250 Macro Conversion Lens, MCL-D Macro Conversion Lens-Diffuser, and MA02-DB Diffuser Box. The MCL-250 is a 2.5x macro conversion lens that fits lenses with 49–67 mm filter threads, helping common kit lenses get closer for macro and close-up shooting. The MCL-D and MA02-DB soften close-up lighting for different subjects, distances, and lighting needs.
