Dual-Lighting Setup, Extra Punch
Ultra-slim 180W LED panel with full color capability and an extended color temperature range from 1800 to 10,000K and 0-100% dimming. The LEDs used in each UP150R provide an impressive 20,400 lux at 1m with 5600K thanks to the fixture's optical lens boost design, while still maintaining soft, even illumination. Additionally, very high CRI and TLCI ratings of 97 and 98 ensure true color rendering for reliable detail and texture results.
Maximum Color Control & Effects
Use the CCT mode to adjust the color temperature from a wide 1800-10,000K range, the RGB mode for red, green, and blue color variations, the HSI mode for hue, saturation, and intensity settings, the GEL mode to select from various preset filters, and finally, the creative FX mode for choosing from 14 different lighting effects for easy scene simulations. Talking about selection and adjustability, it's worth mentioning GM shift by -/+100% and four dimming curves for precision: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic.
Intuitive Settings, NFC App & DMX
Adjust the lighting parameters using the included controller box (able to control both included lights) or go with quick app control with NFC capability. The lights can be remotely controlled via Bluetooth connection from up to 30Km away using the Godox Light app. Simply tap near the NFC area and pair them with the app. The UP150R model also allows wired DMX/RDM control for more advanced users and studio-grade workflows, which requires a separately available DMX-C1 adapter cable.
Power & Cooling
Each unit features a convenient metal body that enables efficient cooling. A heat skin cools down each fixture to prolong durability and ensure consistent output even during extended shoots. This kit includes the AC power cable, but the lights can also be used with separately available V-mount batteries. Besides that, a USB-A port is available for firmware updates.
Quick-Release System
One of the great highlights of these lights is the flexibility of a quick-release mounting system with a dedicated holder. Users will benefit from rapid setup and teardown, with fixtures that are quick to pack and portable enough—a great asset for fast-paced environments. Godox offers a separately available universal swivel holder for flexible positioning of each fixture.
Lighting Expansion
The classic 1x2 panel design of each UP150R may be sufficient for many creators, but here Godox delivers flexibility for more demanding users and studios. Thanks to its seamless dual-light expansion system, this kit packs two UP150R units to allow easy expansion, maximized output, and larger lighting setups. This version lets you achieve a 2x2 structure, but an optional connector is available for a 1x4 format, enabling the use of these two fixtures in horizontal or vertical positions.
