NiSi M75 Filter Holder Kit allows for theconvenient use of up to two separately available 75mm wide, 2mm thick filtersalong with an included NiSi M75 Enhanced Circular Polarizer Filter. This kitcomes fully assembled and features an aluminum alloy filter holder that is pre-installedwith two pairs of plastic filter slots, a configuration that accommodates tworectangular filters. Each slot is designed to grip an installed filter onlyalong the surface of the filter's edges. Contact with a filter's front orrear-facing surfaces is avoided, particularly when using graduated filters,whose effect can be adjusted to better suit changing lighting conditions orcreative demands by sliding them up or down within a filter slot.
Use of the NiSi M75 Filter Holder Kit canbe easily accomplished by first screwing the included 67mm adapter ring onto alens with 67mm front filter threads. Separately available step-up rings allowthe adapter ring to be used with lenses that have 40.5mm, 43mm, 46mm, 49mm,52mm, 55mm, 58mm, and 62mm front filter threads. After being fitted onto theadapter ring, the filter holder's pull-and-release locking pin helps to providea reliable connection that allows the holder to be rotated 360°, furtherbenefiting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that areenhanced by varied positioning. To further secure the position of an installedfilter, the filter holder also features a screw-in locking pin that preventsany rotation of the filter holder.
Together, the 67mm adapter ring and filterholder also accommodate the included NiSi M75 Enhanced Circular PolarizerFilter while allowing that filter's edges to be easily gripped for convenientinstallation or removal. This enhanced circular polarizer filter is designed toprovide a saturation effect that is approximately 25% greater than a NiSi M75Circular Polarizer. When combined with the filter holder and the adapter ring,as well as an optional step-up ring, the polarizer filter can be rotated toadjust its effect. In such instances, an external dial on the adapter ringallows for the independent rotation of the circular polarizer.
